Project Description

The Shriver Report: A Woman’s Nation Changes Everything was published by the Center for American Progress and Maria Shriver. The report examines how work and home life are changing now that women are 50 percent of the workforce. This was a big project—450 pages, 115 photos, and only 3 weeks of layout time before the final report had to be news ready. I still consider this my masterpiece, largely because of the photography we included in the report. I searched high and low for photos to accurately represent the topics covered in the report, and I found winners in the work of many photojournalists who are documenting the very same societal issues.
